From the Collection FOOD FOR THOUGHT by Abigayle             

In January, 1999, I was lost in the Arizona desert and nearly out of gas.  The engine in my 22 year old RV (Lucky) was overheating badly and I was alone and afraid.  I stopped long enough to kneel in prayer and asked the Lord for guidance and only 2 miles later, came upon this hidden lake. This picture was taken just a few minutes after I arrived.  Thank you, Lord! I parked there (on the shore of Mittry Lake) for a month, just reading, writing and reflecting.

WHOSE LOVE WILL BRING ME HAPPINESS

                        Who makes the darkness bright again - when life seems so unfair?

                        Who makes the pain that strikes ALL men - an easy cross to bear?

                        Who gives me strength to carry on - when hopes are turned to fears?

                        Who makes the dusk give way to dawn - and soothes away my tears?

                        Who knows me so completely - that there's nothing I can hide?

                        And yet, he'll never leave me.  He's always at my side!

                        Whose love will bring me happiness?  Whose love will make me strong?

                        There's only ONE so powerful - and that's the LOVE OF GOD!
